Throughout the evening, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have caused electricity outages in large parts of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.
Several individuals were wounded while local people in the city's east were left without electricity and encountered disruption to water systems, as stated by municipal leaders.
Meanwhile, a minor was fatally injured in a different aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, according to area administrators.
Moscow has intensified attacks on electrical systems over recent weeks, while the country's government has requested "concrete actions" from international partners to exert influence on Moscow.
"What's needed is not window dressing but decisive action - from the US, Europe and the major economies - in supplying protection systems and implementing penalties," was stated in a online statement.
Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen rockets attacked the country's power systems, characterizing such strikes as "premeditated" and against "critical infrastructure" as winter approaches.
Energy officials said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and maintenance teams were laboring to restore power.
A wave of strikes damaged electrical systems and civilian homes in the capital.
Multiple people hurt in the attacks on the city have been transported for medical care, as confirmed by city authorities.
